Pirra Homestead
Pirra Homestead is located in Lara, 40 minutes from Melbourne, 5-10 minutes from Avalon airport and 10-15 minutes from Geelong.
The two storey building and its two smaller buildings are located on ten acres, with views over looking the proposed gardens and the existing cricket ground, with Serendip Sanctuary and the You Yangs in the background.
Completed and Current works include:
- External works that are completed are repairs to the timber flooring of verandah, roofing repairs and the original wrought iron has been repaired.
- Interior renovations include painting, wall paper, decorating, heating & cooling, installation of Cbus electrical system and plastering repairs.
Proposed works include landscaping, car park (size depending on need of leasee), driveway and new entry to the property.
Interior renovations are estimated to be completed mid/late 2009
Criteria for leasee:
- Currently operating a successful restaurant, café, B&B etc.
- Experienced in the everyday running of the business.
- Any potential leasee must present a comprehensive business/marketing plan.
- L Bisinella Developments will renovate the interior and the leasee will be responsible for the installation and payment of the kitchen and fit out of the restaurant (If required).
